SUMMARY:Narcotics Anonymous (NA)
DESCRIPTION:What is Narcotics Anonymous?\n\nNarcotics Anonymous (NA) is a free 12-step recovery program for people suffering from addiction and abuse of narcotics.\nParticipants follow a set of recovery steps to achieve and maintain abstinence from drugs including alcohol. Many people use a sponsor to help them through the process.\nBecoming a member is free. The only requirement is a desire to stop using drugs.\nNA is open to everyone\, regardless of age\, gender\, or ethnicity.\nAll members remain anonymous – this takes away the stigma of identification and recognition and allows participants to be more comfortable in their recovery.\nNA welcomes non-religious backgrounds.\n\nWhen do we meet and what do we offer?\n\nNarcotics Anonymous meets in the Prayer Room\, upstairs\, every Thursday evening at 7:00 pm.\nIf you’ve never been to a meeting but are interested in attending\, you can get more information by downloading this pamphlet\, Intro to Meetings\nChildcare is not provided for this meeting\n\nAm I an addict?\nOnly you can answer this question. If you have doubts about whether you’re an addict\, take a few moments to answer the questions provided in this QUESTIONNAIRE. \nWho do I contact with questions?\n\nIn you have a question or would like more information\, please call the church office at (714) 893-6555.
