Recovery Groups

Jesus looked at them and said, “With men, it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” – Mark 10:27

What is Alcoholics Anonymous?
  • Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a free 12-step recovery program for people suffering from alcohol addiction and abuse.
  • Participants follow a set of recovery steps to achieve and maintain abstinence from alcohol. Many people use a sponsor to help them through the process.
  • Becoming a member is free. The only requirement is a desire to stop drinking.
  • You must be an alcoholic to join AA. But anyone can attend open meetings.
  • AA is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity.
  • All members remain anonymous – this takes away the stigma of identification and recognition and allows participants to be more comfortable in their recovery.
  • AA welcomes non-religious backgrounds but takes a spiritual approach to treatment.
When do we meet and what do we offer?
  • Men’s AA meets in the Men’s Ministry room (Man Cave) every Friday Night from 6:30 – 8:00pm.
  • Women’s AA meets in the Glass Chapel every Friday Night from 6:30-8:00pm, information and zoom links below.
