Daniel Ministry
Purpose of Daniel Ministry
- To provide financial assistance to adult members of the congregation at His Place Church who express an interest in pursuing further education or training
- To provide information, counsel and encouragement to those desiring training and/or studies for professional or ministerial development
- To provide opportunities for others to contribute to the Daniel Ministry fund and support those who need assistance in financing their studies
Daniel Ministry Scholarships
- Scholarships are granted for one semester or up to 6 months of training/education.
- Scholarships may be renewed upon verification of satisfactory completion of the previous semester or training period and proof of enrollment for the next semester or training period. Recipients must complete and submit a short scholarship renewal application form at the beginning of the next semester or 6-month training period.
- If a recipient's education plans change after being awarded a scholarship, the recipient must notify the leaders of the Daniel Ministry at His Place Church.
- The deadline for scholarship applications for 2011 - 2012 is August 15, 2011.
Criteria for Scholarship Applicants
- Applicant must regularly attend His Place Church and acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old and either be enrolled or plan to enroll in a recognized training program or educational institution.
- Applicant must submit an application and any required documentation.
Application Process
- Submit a completed application form (if handwritten, please print legibly).
- Daniel Ministry leaders will contact those selected to receive scholarships.
- Scholarship recipients must submit verification of financial obligations for their training or education program (example: invoice or statement from the educational institution).
- Scholarship recipients must provide proof of enrollment in their professional development program.
- Scholarship recipients must submit to the Daniel Ministry the name and address of the institution that is to receive the scholarship check. Scholarship funds will only be awarded to the student's college or training program account upon evidence of registration.
